Scotland managed to secure a vital point against Switzerland, keeping their Euro 2024 campaign alive despite dealing with injuries and setbacks.

Scott McTominay, a key player in Scotland’s qualification journey, nearly electrified the Cologne Stadium with a deflected shot that found the back of the net at the 13-minute mark.

However, an errant back pass from Anthony Ralston provided an opening for Xherdan Shaqiri, who capitalized on the error with a precise first-time shot, beating Angus Gunn and leveling the score.

Kieran Tierney experienced a hamstring issue while chasing Dan Ndoye, who missed a significant opportunity when through on goal. Tierney’s injury will sideline him for the upcoming match against Hungary on Sunday.
